On September 5, 2014, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Thap – Vice President of PetroVietnam (PVN), Mr. Vincent Duignan – General Manager of SOCO South East Asia, Dr. Cu Xuan Bao – General Manager and other representatives from Hoang Long and Hoan Vu JOCs’ (HLHVJOCs) attended the Hand-over and Opening Ceremony of the first phase of the kindergarten in Quang Trung Commune, Vu Ban District, Nam Dinh Province. This project was initiated in September 2013 with a total capital investment of VND 4.7 billion, of which, VND2.1 billion is from the financial sponsorship of HLHVJOCs’.

The first phase of the kindergarten consists of six classrooms and other related facilities such as a kitchen, a playground, fenced walls, etc. with the aim of promoting good child care quality for local children. The previous kindergarten of Quang Trung Commune was badly degraded after years of operation and limited budget for maintenance and renovation by the local authority. The completion of this kindergarten helps provide education for more than 300 children in an attractive, hygienic facility with national standard equipment and, as a result, contributes to the further development of the Province.
