Workshop and Coaching on Production, Safety for Te Giac Trang and Ca Ngu Vang Fields

In order to optimise the production of Te Giac Trang (TGT) and Ca Ngu Vang (CNV) Fields, from 3 to 5 May 2013, Hoang Long – Hoan Vu JOC’s (HLHVJOC’s) organised workshop and coaching for production and safety in Dien Bien province. 

The workshop on “ Minimising Operational Downtime at TGT and CNV Fields” with the attendance of staff directly and indirectly involved in the production process, representatives from VietsovPetro and other officials from PetroVietnam (PVN) and PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP). At the workshop, the thesis presented the direct, indirect and potential causes of downtime in parallel with management, and technical resolutions. The attendants contributed and shared many important ideas focusing on the minimisation of operational downtime and production optimisation to secure the oil and gas production output plan. Giving the closing speech at the event, Dr. Cu Xuan Bao – General Manager of HLHVJOC’s highly appreciated such practical production meetings and emphasised the realization of the ideas at the workshop.

In addition, HLHVJOC’s also combined a coaching section on Safety Audit so as to reinforce knowledge and skills for staff. The training was also an open forum with ideas and contributions from trainees, from key safety audit and inspection personnel to office staff. HLHVJOC’s always commit to strict compliance to health, safety and environment policies. One of which is demonstrated by periodical training on safety awareness and knowledge for employees at international standards.
