On the morning of 25 July 2012, the Opening Ceremony for 900 metres of concrete road in Truong Xuan Commune, Thap Muoi District, Dong Thap Province took place with the honourable presence of the representatives of the local authorities, the Chief of the Green Summer Campaign of Geology Department - the University of Polytechnics of Hochiminh City and the Management of Hoang Long and Hoan Vu JOC’s, together with hundreds of students joining the 2012 Campaign and the local people. The road building project is a great combination between the financial support from the companies and the energy and enthusiasm of the young students of the Polytechnics University.

This is the third consecutive year that Hoang Long and Hoan Vu JOC’s have supported the Green Summer Campaign of the Polytechnics University with total of 3,6 kilometres of concrete road now built. This is one of the donation projects that the Management of Hoang Long and Hoan Vu JOCs pay special attention to, because of its real benefit to the local people, especially to the elderly and children. It also supports the economic growth of a remote region in Dong Thap province.
