Hoang Long and Hoan Vu JOC’s support Light Your Hope Scholarship Fund

On Friday, 18 May 2012, Dr. Ngo Huu Hai – General Manager and Mr. Vincent Duignan - Deputy General Manager of Hoang Long and Hoan Vu Joint Operating Companies (HLHVJOC’s) handed over a Charity Donation Board amount of VND 200,000,000 to the management of Light Your Hope Scholarship Fund.

Since the companies’ establishment, HLHVJOC’s have recognised the importance of the social work part of the companies’ operations and have always strived to accomplish this mission.

to Light Your Hope Scholarship Fund

This donation is part of the Charitable Donation Budget of the Companies which contributes to many charity and social welfare activities. Besides the allocated budget, the employees of HLHVJOC’s voluntarily donate to social activities from their own salaries.

HLHVJOC’s and other sponsors

“Light Your Hope Scholarship Fund”, founded in 2007, is the whole-hearted work of employees of PetroVietnam, PetroVietnam Financial Company (PVFC) and PV Oil, with the intention to collaborate with the society to nurture the future generation of the country. In January 2011, the Fund was approved by the Ministry of Interior to be a Publicised Fund.

Through this act, HLHVJOC’s want to spread the loving message to the community implying that charity works and social welfare activities should be part of the target of any companies striving for further success in business.
